Green Snake is a 1993 Hong Kong fantasy film made by Tsui Hark. It is the adaptation of a novel of the same title by Lilian Lee.
This film is different from the traditional narration of the Chinese folk myth and legend "The Legend of the White Snake". It intends to explore the relationship between the green snake, the white snake, Fa Hai and Xu Xian from the perspective of the green snake, and question whether there is love in the world and what it is.
